Netflix good then bad

First I will start off with my history of Netflix.
I started using Netflix a long time ago. Probably sometime in 2004. Back when I signed up with them it was pretty cheap, at around $20 / month. So all went well, they have a pretty decent selection and its all very simple to use.

Anyway, if you have ever used an online DVD rental, you will probably know of the issues regarding missing discs. This can obviously happen both ways, but it seems to always happen with the DVDs going back to Netflix.

Well to cut a long story short, the issue arose when my account suddenly stopped working and my DVDs stopped arriving. The que was jammed and my account was flagged. This was only just the beginning of the fun. The hard part was trying to find out what the heck was going on. I couldnt get hold of anyone (phone or email). It was after hours when I noticed the problem, so I figured nothing was going to happen fast.

By the time I did get hold of someone, they told me they would look into it. I didnt hear back for close to 48 hours. So the DVD I really wanted to watch, I just ended up renting from the local Blockbuster. The issue was eventually solved with Netflix, but it halted me from over a week of DVD action and I didnt get a refund or anything.

I can tell you I have since switched to Blockbuster, and so far so good.
